MAIN NEWS STORY - ST FRANCIS DEVELOPMENT
The Woodgate Valley Residents Forum closed down a few years ago. In it's lifetime it had accomplished a great deal of jobs which needed doing on the valley, as well as having run a good number of fun events a year. In 2010 there will once again be a residents group present on the valley. Many of the member's of the old group have been key to making this possible, however they will be looking for new people to be involved in the group. Your community needs you! Read more here
Woodgate Valley and St Francis is supported by two Clergy and a Parish Pastoral Minister. For more details on all three please look at their pages under St Francis Staff. If you would like to contact them about home blessings, weddings, funerals, or anything else of that nature, contact St Francis with the details below and we'll put you through. Alternatively, their individual contact details are found on the contact us page.

New Years Resolutions
First of all let it be my pleasure to wish you all a very happy new year from everyone at St Francis. Secondly, let me ask you a simple question. Did you make any new years resolutions this year? Perhaps to do more exercise, or perhaps to give more of your time to helping other people? Maybe you just want to join a club or group to liven up your evenings?
Well this new year at St Francis we are bringing people together to accomplish some of these aims together. Read more here to find out how you could be involved.

Let us know your throughts on what you think should be done in the community by filling in our web form...

There are a number of ways that staff at St Francis might be able to give advice and guidance with problems you maybe facing. Although we cannot give advice and help in specialist areas, we have links with services that run throughout the area, and can usually put you in contact with the best people to help. Feel free to drop by during work hours if you have any questions, or e-mail enquiries@stfrancis-centre.co.uk
17th July 2010
This summer for the first time in a few years we are going to be having a summer fun day organised in the community. The fun day will be organised by the Woodgate Valley Community Association, backed by St Francis Church and Community Centre, as well as the Police and other local service providers.
If you would like to be involved it is not too late. To get involved you can do one of the following:
- Drop by the St Francis Church and Community Centre and find out more from our Community Worker Tom (office hours 9-5 weekdays - although out and about for meetings part of the time). He can also be contacted on 07875 379 460.
- Calling the office on 0121 427 6728 to speak to Tom or one of the other member's of staff.
- E-mailing Tom at tom.milton@stfrancis-centre.co.uk
Alternatively you can get involved by attending out next planning meeting on the 25th May 2010.
